For most small and mid-size Indian manufacturers, the best ERP software in 2026 is ERPNext if you want open source with no licence fee, Odoo if you want a polished modular system with published per-user pricing, and TallyPrime plus a manufacturing add-on if your team already runs on Tally and only needs basic bills of materials. Growing distributors and brands that mainly need stock control often start with Zoho Inventory. Larger, multi-plant companies usually shortlist SAP, Oracle NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics 365, which are quote-based. On official pricing, Odoo has a free One App plan and a Standard plan listed at Rs 725 to Rs 950 per user per month on yearly billing. ERPNext is free to self-host, and Frappe Cloud hosting starts at ₹410 a month.

Watch out for: you need a capable implementation partner or in-house developer, and heavy customisation can make upgrades harder.

Odoo pricing

Odoo's official pricing page lists three plans in India:

• One App Free: Rs 0/month. One app with unlimited users on Odoo Online.
• Standard: Rs 725 to Rs 950 per user per month with the yearly discount applied. All apps on Odoo Online.
• Custom: Rs 1,150 to Rs 1,420 per user per month with the yearly discount applied. All apps plus Odoo Studio, multi-company support, external API access and hosting on Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or on-premise.

The page shows a price range. Check the exact figure for your user count and billing period on Odoo's site. Odoo says subscriptions include hosting, backups, security, support and upgrades. Implementation partners charge separately.

Odoo's manufacturing, inventory, purchase, WMS and accounting apps work together. A manufacturer with multiple companies or custom workflows will usually need the Custom plan.

Strengths: modern interface, a huge app library, and you can start with a few apps and add more.

Watch out for: per-user costs grow with headcount, and Indian localisation and GST reporting should be checked with your partner.

If you trade or assemble rather than run full production, an inventory tool may be enough before a full ERP.
