HRMS software brings attendance, leave, payroll, statutory compliance and employee records into a single system. In India the deciding factor is almost never the feature list — it is whether the payroll engine correctly handles PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS without an accountant patching it every month.

Most Indian HRMS products sit between ₹40 and ₹150 per employee per month, often with a minimum billing floor. A few offer a free tier for very small teams. Published pricing for each product is shown on its page, read from the vendor's own site.
The better Indian products do, including challan generation and return filing formats. Global HRMS platforms usually do not handle Indian statutory payroll natively and need a local payroll partner bolted on — which is a real cost and a real point of failure.
