Edgee

Edgee is an Agent Gateway for engineering teams that use coding agents. It lets a team put every coding agent on a budget, route requests across models under that budget, see where every token goes and compress the rest. The site says compression can give up to 70% lower token costs. It works with Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, OpenCode and Cursor, and the Claude Mod shows the model, savings and session activity beside the conversation.

For teams, Edgee adds observability by developer and by repository, with GitHub connected through OAuth and token use shown per repo, PR, branch and file. Admins can invite developers by email or SSO, assign admin, member or read-only roles and set per-seat spending caps with alerts at 50, 80 and 100%. Fallback chains route requests to an open weight model when a provider limit or outage hits. Provider keys can be brought in, and the site says they are encrypted before storage.

The Free plan is $0 for solo developers and carries a 5% credit top-up fee: adding $100 in credits costs $105 before tax. Team is $30 / developer / month and shows a 0% credit top-up fee. Enterprise pricing is custom and adds SSO and SAML, a private gateway, gateway residency in the EU, US or APAC, and dedicated support with an SLA. The site states there is no BYOK commission on any plan, and that no credit card is needed to start.

Check a few points before buying. Smart routing by task complexity is marked Beta, and self-learning routing is described as coming soon. The Claude Mod needs Claude Code 2.1.287 or newer. The site lists SOC 2 and GDPR badges, and its terms are governed by the laws of France unless a Master Service Agreement says otherwise. Prices are shown in dollars, so Indian buyers should confirm invoicing and GST handling with the vendor.
