PayU India is the Indian payments business of PayU, which belongs to Prosus, the global internet group that is majority-owned by South Africa's Naspers. Its office is in Gurugram, Haryana. PayU's corporate site says the PayU payment gateway launched in India in 2011 under the ibibo group, and that PayU India became a separate company in 2014.
