Quick answer: Free plans without a badge are rare. Carrd, Wix and Mailchimp say branding comes off only on paid plans, and Leadpages lists no free plan. The cheapest route with a custom domain and forms is Carrd's Pro Standard at $19 a year. Systeme.io offers a free plan with three sales funnels. A/B testing starts around $50 a month on Leadpages Grow, so test your offer on one page first and pay for experiments later.

How we researched this: We read the pricing and plan pages of Carrd, Systeme.io, Leadpages, Landingi, Swipe Pages, Unbounce, Instapage, Framer, Durable, Wix, Mailchimp and Zoho PageSense. Where a page does not mention branding, we say so rather than guess. All figures are as published in October 2026.

What "no watermark" actually involves

A landing page builder can mark your page in four ways: a footer badge ("Made with Carrd"), a vendor subdomain instead of your own domain, a vendor-branded form or pop-up, or caps on visits that force an upgrade just as an ad campaign works. A genuinely free page needs none of these. The vendors' own pages show how rarely that happens.

BuilderWhat its page says about branding on free plans
CarrdUp to three sites for free; "No Branding" (publishing without the "Made with Carrd" footer) is listed as a Pro feature on every Pro plan, which implies free sites carry it
WixFree sites use a username.wixsite.com address; paid plans "connect your own domain, remove Wix branding"
Mailchimp"Remove Mailchimp Branding" is listed as not included on Free and included on Essentials, Standard and Premium; the page does not say whether this covers landing pages specifically
LeadpagesNo free plan; every paid plan lists "Remove Leadpages branding"
Systeme.ioFree plan "never expires and does not require a credit card"; the pricing page does not mention branding either way
FramerFree plan has a "free Framer domain"; a custom domain needs a paid plan; the pricing page does not mention a badge
DurableFree subdomain on durable.site; a "Remove Durable branding" row exists, but which plans include it is not clear from the page
Landingi, Swipe Pages, Unbounce, InstapageNo free plan; trials only; branding policy not stated on the pricing pages

Read the rows that say "does not mention" as questions, not as answers. Before you invest in a page, publish a test page on the free plan and look at the footer, the form and the URL on a phone.

Plans and limits side by side

Almost every landing page builder SaaS India marketers compare is priced in dollars. Prices are per each vendor's pricing page (checked October 2026) and in US dollars unless noted.

BuilderEntry priceWhat the entry plan limitsTrial
CarrdPro Lite $9/year (3 sites); Pro Standard $19/year; Pro Plus $49/yearPro Lite lists "Premium URLs" only; custom domain, forms, Google Analytics and widgets start at Pro StandardFree plan, 3 sites
Systeme.ioFree; Startup $17/month; Webinar $47; Unlimited $97Free: 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels, 1 custom domain, 1 email campaign (sent emails unlimited)Free plan
LeadpagesPro $15; Business $25; Grow $50; Optimize $100 a month (plan cards)Pro: 25 pages, 1 site, no A/B testing; unlimited traffic on every plan7 days, card required
LandingiBuild $24 a month when billed annually10 active landing pages, 2,000 visits a month, 1 custom domain14 days, capped at 200 visits
Swipe PagesStartup $29 a month (annual billing)Unlimited pages, 20,000 visitors, 1 root domain, no A/B testing14 days, no card
UnbounceStarter $29 monthly or $22 yearly5 pages, up to 500 visitors, 1 domain14 days, no card
FramerFree; Basic $10; Pro $30 a monthFree: 1 GB bandwidth, no custom domainFree plan
DurableFree; Launch $25 (card) or $22 (table); Grow $49 or $41Free: 300 AI credits in totalFree plan
MailchimpFree ₹0; Essentials ₹845 a month (promotional price for 12 months)Free: limit of 250 contactsFree plan

Two cautions. Leadpages' own page shows two sets of prices: the plan cards above, and a FAQ that quotes higher figures (Pro $29, Business $49, Grow $99 and Optimize $199), so confirm the current price at checkout. Unbounce and Durable also show different figures in their cards and comparison tables for the same plan.

The only builder here that publishes rupee prices is Mailchimp, whose India page lists Essentials at ₹845 a month, Standard at ₹1,265 and Premium at ₹25,300, each for the first 12 months with "Save 50%". Zoho PageSense lets you switch its pricing page to INR; check the live page for amounts.

A/B testing: where it starts, and what traffic you need

A/B testing software for landing pages is usually gated behind the second or third plan.

ToolWhere A/B testing beginsPrice shown
LeadpagesGrow: manual A/B with 6 variants per page; Optimize adds multivariate$50 and $100 a month
Swipe PagesMarketer (50,000 visitors, 5 root domains)$69 a month, annual billing
LandingiOptimize: server-side A/B testing, 100 pages, 30,000 visits$119 a month (billing cycle not stated)
UnbounceExperiment: unlimited A/B testing, up to 30k visitors; Smart Traffic on Optimize$149 monthly or $112 yearly
FramerPro, as an add-on: up to 5 tests, $50 per 500,000 events$30 plus add-on
Zoho PageSensePage lists A/B and split URL testing under Enterprise; Forever Free has heatmaps and 5,000 monthly tracked usersINR selectable; check the live page
InstapageA/B tests on standard and AMP pages; 14-day trialPrice on plans page
VWOA/B/n, split and multivariate tests; plans (Growth, Pro, Enterprise) by demoNot published

Traffic is the real constraint. A split test divides your visitors, so a page with 2,000 visits a month gives each version about 1,000. That is too few for a small difference to show. Unbounce's Starter plan stops at 500 visitors, which is fine for a page but not for an experiment. If you advertise in modest volumes, test big differences (offer, headline, form length) and run the test for several weeks rather than days. Pair testing with behaviour tools; our guide to heatmaps and session recording explains what to watch.

AI landing page generators

Searches for a "no code landing page generator AI" now lead to tools where a prompt drafts a page and its copy. The plans quantify that with credits.

  • Durable's free plan includes 300 AI credits in total, Launch 1,000 a month and Grow 5,000 a month, and lists AI-generated pages as unlimited on every plan.
  • Unbounce lists 4,000 AI credits on Starter and 30,000 on Build, and calls itself an AI-powered landing page builder.
  • Landingi lists 2,500 credits a month on Build and 10,000 on Optimize.

Credits are not comparable across vendors, because each uses them differently. Use the AI to produce a first draft in an hour, then rewrite for your buyer: names, GST-inclusive prices, city, delivery times and local phone numbers. A generic AI headline is the quickest way to waste ad spend.

Three Indian scenarios worked through

A Nagpur coaching class collecting admission enquiries for one batch. One page, one form, a WhatsApp number, a budget of nearly zero. Start with Systeme.io's free plan (one custom domain, three funnels) or Carrd. Carrd Pro Standard at $19 a year buys a custom domain and forms, and removes the footer. Route leads into a free CRM quickly; our guide to speed to lead shows why the first response time matters, and the note on free CRMs lists the limits.

A Bengaluru B2B SaaS firm sending Google Ads traffic. Here testing matters. Leadpages Grow ($50, manual A/B, unlimited traffic) is the cheapest published route to experiments; Swipe Pages Marketer ($69 on annual billing) comes next, then Unbounce Experiment ($112 yearly) and Landingi Optimize ($119). Choose Leadpages if traffic is unpredictable, as it states no traffic caps; choose Unbounce if you want its Smart Traffic routing later. The monthly cost is small next to the ad spend it can protect.

A Pune digital agency building 12 client pages. Count pages and domains, not just price. Leadpages Pro stops at 25 pages and 1 site, Landingi Build at 10 active pages, Swipe Pages Startup has unlimited pages but 1 root domain, and its Agency plan lists unlimited root domains. Agencies should also check who owns the account if a client leaves.

Who should skip which tool

  • Skip Mailchimp's landing pages if you want a branding-free free plan; its page lists branding removal as paid-only.
  • Skip Landingi and Unbounce Starter for tiny budgets; the entry tiers cap visits or pages, and trials limit you further (Landingi's trial counts only 200 visits).
  • Skip Framer's free plan for a lead-gen campaign, because a custom domain needs a paid plan and A/B testing is a paid add-on.
  • Skip A/B tools entirely until you have a page that converts and enough visitors to split.

A one-week launch plan

  1. Day 1: Write the offer in one sentence, the one action you want, and the proof you can show (your own photos, your GST registration, real addresses).
  2. Day 2: Build the page from a template. Check the footer, form and URL on an Android phone over mobile data.
  3. Day 3: Connect the form to your CRM or a WhatsApp number, and send a test lead to yourself.
  4. Day 4: Add tracking: an analytics tag and, if you want to see behaviour, Microsoft Clarity or the Forever Free tier of Zoho PageSense, which lists heatmaps and 5,000 monthly tracked users.
  5. Day 5 to 7: Send small paid traffic, read the first 100 sessions and fix the biggest friction. Only then consider lead scoring or an A/B tool.

FAQs

Is there a free landing page builder without watermark?

None of the vendor pages we read promises one outright. Systeme.io's free plan and Framer's free plan do not mention branding on their pricing pages, while Carrd, Wix and Mailchimp state that branding removal is a paid feature. Publish a test page and inspect it before relying on a free plan.

How much does it cost to remove the Carrd badge?

Carrd's Pro page lists Pro Lite at $9 a year, Pro Standard at $19 and Pro Plus at $49, and says all Pro plans include "No Branding". Its homepage says Pro starts "from just $19 / year". Custom domains, forms and analytics start at Pro Standard.

What is the cheapest landing page builder with A/B testing?

Among those with published prices, Leadpages Grow at $50 a month lists manual A/B testing with six variants per page. Framer's Pro plan at $30 can add A/B testing as a paid add-on. Zoho PageSense has a Forever Free plan with heatmaps, with A/B testing listed under Enterprise.

Do I need a custom domain for a landing page?

For paid ads, a custom domain looks more trustworthy and keeps your brand consistent. Many free plans use the vendor's subdomain, and Framer says you must upgrade to connect a custom domain.

Can AI build my landing page?

Durable, Unbounce and Landingi all list AI credits in their plans. Use AI for a first draft and edit it for your Indian audience, because the same prompt gives every competitor the same page.

Is Leadpages cheaper than Unbounce?

On the plan cards, yes: Leadpages starts at $15 a month, and Unbounce at $29 monthly or $22 yearly. But Leadpages' FAQ lists higher prices, so check checkout before comparing.
