Quick answer: "Under ₹1,000 a month" is achievable per user, not per team. On annual billing, Zoho Bigin Express is ₹400, Freshsales Growth ₹749, Zoho CRM Standard ₹800, and TeleCRM and Cratio ₹799, all before GST. For zero rupees, Zoho CRM's free edition covers 3 users, HubSpot's 2, and Kylas CRM's Embark plan unlimited users with fewer features. Pages checked October 2026.
How we researched this: We opened the pricing pages of Zoho (CRM and Bigin), Freshworks, TeleCRM, Cratio, Kylas, Bitrix24, HubSpot and EngageBay, plus Zoho's free-edition page. Prices and limits are as shown in October 2026; we do not predict 2027 changes. Where a page shows dollars only, we say so.
What ₹1,000 buys: per user versus per team
Most CRM prices are per user per month. A ₹1,000 budget therefore buys one paid seat, or two seats on the cheapest plan, or a free plan for a small team. The table shows how many users fit under ₹1,000 in total on each paid option, using annual-billing list prices before GST.
| Option | Annual billing, per user/month | Monthly billing, per user/month | Users that fit under ₹1,000 (annual) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zoho Bigin Express | ₹400 | ₹550 | 2 |
| Zoho Bigin Premier | ₹720 | ₹900 | 1 |
| Freshsales Growth | ₹749 | ₹899 | 1 |
| TeleCRM | ₹799 | ₹1,099 (billed quarterly) | 1 |
| Cratio Pro (minimum 5 users) | ₹799 | n/a | none; 5 users cost ₹3,995 |
| Zoho CRM Standard | ₹800 | ₹1,300 | 1 |
The Bigin and Zoho CRM prices come from Zoho's pricing pages. TeleCRM's page states ₹799 per user per month billed annually and ₹1,099 billed quarterly. Cratio's page shows one plan at ₹799 per user per month billed annually, a limited-time "lifetime" offer of ₹399 (five users at that rate comes to ₹1,995 a month, as the page itself calculates), and 18% GST charged extra. Freshworks' pricing page shows Growth at $9 per user per month billed annually; the same page's embedded rupee price list shows ₹749 on annual billing and ₹899 monthly, so confirm the rupee figure at checkout.
GST changes the picture slightly. Using the 18% that Cratio's page states, ₹799 becomes about ₹943 and ₹800 about ₹944 per user per month, so those still fit under ₹1,000 per user with tax; our guide to claiming GST input credit on SaaS explains whether you can recover it.
What a 3, 8 and 20 person team pays each month
Multiplying the annual-billing list prices above, before GST, gives the real monthly bill. The flat-fee rows come from the section on Kylas and Bitrix24 below.
| Team size | Bigin Express | Freshsales Growth | Zoho CRM Standard | TeleCRM or Cratio at ₹799 | Flat-fee options |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 users | ₹1,200 | ₹2,247 | ₹2,400 | ₹2,397 (Cratio needs 5) | Zoho CRM free: ₹0 |
| 8 users | ₹3,200 | ₹5,992 | ₹6,400 | ₹6,392 | Bitrix24 Standard: ₹4,790 |
| 20 users | ₹8,000 | ₹14,980 | ₹16,000 | ₹15,980 | Kylas Elevate: ₹12,999; Bitrix24 Standard: ₹4,790 |
Cratio's limited-time ₹399 offer would bring eight users to ₹3,192 and twenty to ₹7,980, if the offer is still open when you buy. Notice that nothing here reaches ₹1,000 for a team beyond two people; the budget that makes sense for a growing Indian business is closer to ₹400–₹800 per head, and the real question is which plan's limits you will hit first.
The free CRMs: where each one stops
Free is the right starting point for a solo founder or a three-person team that has never used a CRM. The catch is what each free plan leaves out.
| Free plan | Users | What is included | Limits that bite |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zoho CRM free edition | 3 | Leads, deals, contacts, tasks, workflows, standard reports, mobile apps, up to 10 custom email templates | 5,000 records and 1 GB file storage per Zoho's free-edition page; Zoho's comparison page shows no custom modules or mass email |
| Zoho Bigin Free | 1 | Contacts, products, activities, built-in phone, dashboard, mobile apps | 500 records, 1 pipeline, 3 automations |
| HubSpot free CRM | 2 | Contacts, deals, lite marketing, sales and service tools | 1,000 contacts, HubSpot branding on many tools |
| Kylas Embark | Unlimited | Lead, contact, company and deal management, customisable pipelines, quotations, mobile app | No email integration, telephony, SMS, WhatsApp, workflow automation, API or custom fields |
| EngageBay free | Up to 15 members | CRM, email marketing, autoresponders, helpdesk, live chat | 250 contacts listed; paid plans are priced in dollars on the page |
Zoho states for its free edition: "Free forever – No trial period, no forced upgrade", while its regular sign-up page starts a 15-day trial of a paid edition, so use the free-edition link. Kylas's Embark is the only option above with unlimited users, which makes it useful for a large field team that needs nothing more than a shared lead list and quotations; but a CRM without custom fields or follow-up automation is closer to a contact book. See our guide to free CRM limits that matter for how to test them.
Paid CRMs under ₹1,000 per user: what you actually get
Zoho Bigin Express (₹400 annual, ₹550 monthly). Per Zoho's Bigin page it adds email and WhatsApp Business integration, mass email, customisable dashboards, payment links, social lead ads and Zoho Books, Invoice and Meeting integrations, with 50,000 records, 3 pipelines and 30 automations. Bigin offers a 15-day trial with no card and moves your account to the Free plan afterwards rather than charging you. Our guide to how Bigin helps sales teams goes through the workflow.
Zoho CRM Standard (₹800 annual, ₹1,300 monthly). Zoho's comparison lists 5 pipelines, 10 custom modules, 10 custom fields per module, 30 workflow rules per module, 250 mass emails a day, 100,000 records, built-in calling, forecasting and cadences. The 10 custom-field cap is the first wall for businesses that need to store GST number, credit period, dealer type and region on every account. More in our Zoho CRM pricing guide.
Freshsales Growth ($9; ₹749 in the page's rupee data). Freshworks lists Kanban view, contact lifecycle stages, chat, email and phone, email templates, custom fields and basic workflows, with a 21-day trial. Territory management and sales sequences start on the Pro plan, and forecasting insights on Enterprise. See how Freshsales helps sales teams.
TeleCRM (₹799 annual). Built around calling: Excel upload, one-click dialer, call recording, follow-ups, lead capture from 15+ platforms and up to 10,000 free automations a month, with calls recorded for all employees except personal SIM calls. Add-ons are Chat Sync at ₹200 per user per month and a ₹1,999 one-time WhatsApp API setup. Refunds are offered within fifteen days on quarterly and annual plans if you complete a feedback call.
Cratio Pro (₹799 annual, 5-user minimum). One plan with lead capture from IndiaMART, JustDial, 99acres, MagicBricks, Housing.com, TradeIndia, Facebook Lead Ads and website forms, round-robin routing, SIM-based call tracking and recording, cloud telephony features, WhatsApp Business API with a shared inbox, and Android and iOS apps. It advertises a "30-Day Success Guarantee" where you pay after 30 days following setup, CSV export with no exit fees, and cancel-anytime. See how Cratio helps and our guide to bringing IndiaMART and JustDial leads into a CRM.
Flat-fee pricing: Kylas and Bitrix24 change the maths for bigger teams
Per-user pricing hurts as you hire. Two options charge per business.
- Kylas Elevate. Kylas's pricing page, which uses regional pricing, shows a flat ₹12,999 a month for the whole team with unlimited users (the page's meta description says "flat INR 12999 Plan with unlimited features & users"). Quarterly, half-yearly and annual plans are offered, with a 7-day trial and no card. Elevate lists 100,000 records, 30 workflows, 25 custom fields and telephony, SMS and WhatsApp. By our arithmetic it only undercuts an ₹800-per-seat plan beyond about 16 users, so it suits 20-plus-seat inside-sales teams, not a startup. Kylas also lists customised onboarding at ₹25,000 one-time. Read the Kylas guide and the Corefactors, Kylas and Freshsales comparison.
- Bitrix24. Its India page prices per organisation, not per user: Basic at ₹1,910 a month on annual billing (₹2,990 monthly) for 5 users with 5 pipelines, and Standard at ₹4,790 (₹6,890 monthly) for 50 users with 10 pipelines, sales automation and invoicing. At 8 users, Standard costs ₹599 per user against ₹800 for Zoho CRM Standard. The page shows a Free plan too, but states 1–2 users in the pricing box and unlimited users in the FAQ, so ask which applies. See how Bitrix24 helps.
Costs outside the sticker price
- GST. Zoho states local taxes are charged in addition to its prices, and Cratio states 18% extra on all plans.
- Annual prepayment. The low numbers above require annual or quarterly billing. Monthly pricing for Zoho CRM Standard is ₹1,300, which is not under ₹1,000.
- WhatsApp. Even when the CRM includes it, Meta charges per message and providers add fees; see our WhatsApp API integration guide.
- Calling. Cloud telephony is usually a separate bill; see our dialer and tele-calling CRM guide.
- Onboarding. Zoho's pricing page advertises free onboarding; Kylas lists paid sessions; HubSpot requires onboarding fees on Professional plans.
- Data. Before you commit, export a CSV and confirm you can leave; moving later is easier if you start from clean data, as in moving from Excel to a CRM.
Which one for which team
- Solo founder or two-person shop: Bigin Free or Zoho CRM free; upgrade to Bigin Express when you need email and WhatsApp.
- 3–5 people with a Hindi-speaking or Marathi-speaking team: Zoho CRM free for three users, then Standard; check regional language support in our language guide.
- 5–10 telecallers: TeleCRM or Cratio, if calling and lead-portal capture are the daily job.
- 20-plus users: compare per-seat with Kylas Elevate and Bitrix24 Standard flat fees.
A seven-day test that exposes a cheap plan's limits
Every plan above has a wall; the trial week is for finding it before you pay. Load 200 real leads from your Excel sheet on day one and count how many fields you wanted but could not create (the Zoho Standard cap of 10 custom fields per module and Kylas Embark's lack of custom fields are the examples from the pages we read). On day two, make ten calls and check that each call is logged against the right lead. On day three, ask a non-technical colleague to add a lead and set a follow-up from the mobile app without help. On day four, connect one lead source such as a website form or a portal. On day five, run the report your owner actually asks for every Monday, usually leads by source and follow-ups overdue. If the plan cannot do these five things, the sticker price is irrelevant.
A cheap CRM is the wrong choice if you need territories, approval workflows or heavy customisation; for that, read our HubSpot vs Zoho cost comparison and the CRM software category.
FAQs
What is the cheapest CRM software in India?
On list prices we read, Zoho Bigin Express at ₹400 per user per month (annual) is the cheapest paid plan, and Kylas Embark, Zoho CRM's free edition and HubSpot's free CRM cost nothing. The cheapest is only useful if it covers the features you need.
Is there a free CRM software for small business in India?
Yes. Zoho CRM free (3 users), HubSpot free CRM (2 users), Zoho Bigin Free (1 user), EngageBay free (up to 15 members) and Kylas Embark (unlimited users) are all free, each with limits.
What is a good SaaS CRM for startups under ₹1,000 per month?
For a very small team, Bigin Express at ₹400 per user per month or Zoho CRM Standard at ₹800 keep one to two seats under ₹1,000, and the free editions cover more. Choose annual billing and add GST to your budget.
Is Kylas a good CRM for Indian small businesses?
Kylas lists a free plan with unlimited users but without email, telephony, WhatsApp or custom fields, and a flat ₹12,999-a-month Elevate plan with unlimited users. That makes it more attractive for larger teams than for a one-person shop.
Does Zoho CRM have a free plan?
Yes, for up to 3 users, with 5,000 records and 1 GB of storage per Zoho's free-edition page.
Can I pay for a CRM monthly under ₹1,000?
Few can. Bigin Express is ₹550 per user monthly and Freshsales Growth ₹899 monthly in the page's rupee data; Zoho CRM Standard is ₹1,300 monthly.
