Quick answer: For a 10-person Indian sales team, Zoho CRM Professional costs ₹14,000 a month on annual billing (before GST), while HubSpot CRM Sales Hub Professional lists $90–$100 per seat plus a mandatory $1,500 onboarding fee. HubSpot's free CRM and cheap Starter tier are the better entry point; Zoho wins on rupee pricing and Indian data centres. Salesforce Sales Cloud publishes dollar prices only.
How we researched this: We read the pricing pages of HubSpot, Zoho and Salesforce, HubSpot's help articles on Indian-issued cards, calling countries, data hosting and login, and Zoho's feature-comparison and data-centre pages. Prices are as shown in October 2026 and are not forecasts for 2027.
10 seats, one year: the rupee and dollar price lists side by side
The biggest trap in this comparison is currency. Zoho's pricing page has an INR option; HubSpot's and Salesforce's pages, when we opened them, showed dollars. So the table below keeps each vendor in its own currency and does no conversion. Figures are per user (or "seat") per month, multiplied for ten seats over twelve months, and exclude GST or other taxes.
| Option | Listed price per seat per month | 10 seats, 12 months |
|---|---|---|
| Zoho CRM Standard, annual billing | ₹800 | ₹96,000 |
| Zoho CRM Professional, annual billing | ₹1,400 | ₹1,68,000 |
| Zoho CRM Enterprise, annual billing | ₹2,400 | ₹2,88,000 |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Starter | $7 shown, $20 also shown | $840–$2,400 |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Professional | $90 shown, $100 also shown | $10,800–$12,000, plus $1,500 one-time onboarding |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Enterprise | $150 | $18,000, plus $3,500 one-time onboarding |
| Salesforce Starter Suite | $25 (billed monthly or annually) | $3,000 |
| Salesforce Pro Suite | $100 (billed annually) | $12,000 |
Two cautions about the HubSpot rows. First, its Starter and Professional cards each show two figures, and the page text does not say which belongs to the monthly or annual toggle; check the live toggle before quoting. Second, the page footnotes that Professional "does not include the required, one-time Professional Onboarding for a fee of $1,500", and Enterprise carries a $3,500 equivalent. A first-year budget has to include them.
Salesforce's India pricing page offers a converter limited to USD, AUD, GBP, EUR, JPY and SEK, and says the page is "for information purposes only"; a rupee quote has to come from its sales team.
The break-even exchange rate: compare without guessing the dollar
You do not need a forecast of the rupee to compare. Divide the rupee price by the dollar price and you get the exchange rate at which the two cost the same.
- Zoho Professional (₹1,400) against HubSpot Professional ($90 or $100): break-even at ₹15.6 or ₹14 per dollar.
- Zoho Enterprise (₹2,400) against HubSpot Enterprise ($150): break-even at ₹16 per dollar.
- Zoho Professional (₹1,400) against Salesforce Pro Suite ($100): break-even at ₹14 per dollar.
- Zoho Standard (₹800) against HubSpot Starter ($7): break-even at ₹114 per dollar. Against the $20 figure: ₹40.
Look up the day's rate and compare it with those numbers. At any rate close to today's, Zoho's Professional and Enterprise tiers cost a fraction of the HubSpot and Salesforce equivalents, but HubSpot Starter at $7 is the exception: it can undercut Zoho Standard. That is a real advantage, and it comes with Starter limits, so read "What you get at each rung" below before choosing on price alone.
A bigger team: 25 seats
Scale makes the per-seat gap more visible. For 25 users over twelve months, using only the figures above and before taxes:
- Zoho CRM Enterprise, annual billing: ₹60,000 a month, ₹7,20,000 a year.
- HubSpot Sales Hub Enterprise: $150 × 25 × 12 = $45,000 a year, plus the $3,500 onboarding fee.
- Salesforce Pro Suite: $100 × 25 × 12 = $30,000 a year.
The Salesforce row is not like-for-like with the other two, because Pro Suite is the second rung on Salesforce's ladder, with Core, Advanced and Max above it. That is the general lesson: line up the features your process needs, then price them. Zoho's non-sales colleagues (finance, dispatch, support) can be added as Team Users at ₹400 per user per month on annual billing, which keeps full licences for the people who actually own deals.
Where Salesforce fits
Salesforce's page lists Starter Suite at $25 per user per month (monthly or annual), Pro Suite at $100 (annual, adds quoting and forecasting), then Core at $195, Advanced at $395 and Max at $550, all annual. For a Zoho-versus-Salesforce decision (our LeadSquared vs Salesforce vs HubSpot guide adds a third option), price is rarely the question; the deciding factors are partner support, complex multi-entity sales processes, and whether you have a Salesforce administrator. A 25-person Pune distributor does not need that. A group with several business units and an IT team might.
What you get at each rung
Like-for-like matching of plans is where most "HubSpot vs Zoho" tables go wrong, because the vendors slice features differently.
Free. HubSpot's free CRM is for up to 2 users with up to 1,000 contacts, no time limit and no card. It bundles lite versions of its other tools: 2,000 marketing email sends a month with HubSpot branding, a single personal meeting link and up to 15 pipelines in the sales tool. Zoho's free edition supports 3 users, with 5,000 records and 1 GB of file storage per Zoho's free-edition page (our guide to free CRM limits shows what else to check). HubSpot wins on bundled marketing tools; Zoho wins on users and records.
Entry paid. HubSpot Sales Hub Starter lists up to 50 workflows with restricted triggers and actions, 15 pipelines, 5 lead scores, 500 calling minutes and 5,000 sequences per account. Zoho Standard lists 5 pipelines, 30 workflow rules per module (15 active), 10 custom fields per module, 250 mass emails a day and cadences. The Zoho limits are tighter; the HubSpot Starter seat is cheaper.
Mid-tier. HubSpot Professional lists up to 300 sales workflows, 100 pipelines, 3,000 calling minutes and 1,000 sequence emails per user per day. Zoho Professional lists 80 workflow rules per module (40 active), 10 pipelines, 155 custom fields per module, blueprints and CPQ price rules. If your process is custom fields and approvals, Zoho's per-module field allowance is generous for the money. If it is outbound sequences at volume, HubSpot's numbers are bigger.
Enterprise. HubSpot Enterprise lists up to 1,000 workflows and 350 pipelines. Zoho Enterprise adds territories, approval processes, a developer sandbox and field-level encryption, at ₹2,400 against $150.

India-specific checks most comparisons skip
1. Calling. HubSpot's help page on calling says that due to local regulations Twilio no longer supports local outbound calls in India as of 1 August 2024, that outbound calls from an Indian number to another Indian local or mobile number are not supported, and that India is a country where HubSpot-provided phone numbers are not available. For an inside-sales team that lives on the phone, that means a third-party Indian telephony provider, not HubSpot's built-in dialer. Zoho's own help describes its inbuilt telephony as built over Twilio, and lists Ozonetel and Knowlarity among its provider integrations, so test an India-to-India call in the trial rather than assuming. Our guide to auto dialers and cloud telephony with a CRM covers the Indian providers, and the dialer CRM category lists more.
2. Paying the invoice. HubSpot's help article on paying with Indian-issued credit cards says automated payments above ₹15,000 must be approved through the card issuer's SI Hub portal (it names HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis and Kotak) or the payment fails, and that manual payments in Account & Billing from India-based customers are not subject to its ₹5,000 restriction. A ten-seat Professional bill of $900 a month is far above ₹15,000 at any exchange rate near today's, so your finance team should set up the approval once, or use a card from a non-Indian bank, which the article lists as an alternative.
3. Where the data sits. Zoho's data-centre page lists Mumbai (primary) and Chennai (secondary) in India. HubSpot's hosting FAQ lists Germany, US East, US West, Canada and Australia, says your account is assigned a data centre from the geolocation of your IP at sign-up, and does not mention India. If a client contract needs data in India, this alone may decide the choice; see India data residency for SaaS.
4. Logging in. For "HubSpot CRM login India" searches: HubSpot's help page gives the login address as app.hubspot.com/login. You enter your email and HubSpot routes you to the method your account allows: password, passkey, Google, Microsoft, Apple or single sign-on (SSO is limited to Professional and Enterprise). An unrecognised device triggers an emailed verification code, and "You have no accounts" means the email is not an active user on that account.
Cheaper than HubSpot: four rupee-priced options worth a demo
- Zoho Bigin: Express at ₹400 per user per month billed annually and ₹550 monthly, per Zoho's Bigin pricing data.
- Freshsales: the pricing page shows Growth at $9 per user per month billed annually, and its embedded rupee price list shows ₹749 on annual billing and ₹899 monthly.
- TeleCRM: ₹799 per user per month billed annually, with one-click dialing and call recording listed, and a ₹1,999 one-time WhatsApp API setup.
- Kylas CRM: a free "Embark" plan with unlimited users, and an Elevate plan that Kylas's pricing page shows as a flat ₹12,999 a month for the whole team rather than a per-user price, so by our arithmetic it only beats an ₹800-per-seat plan beyond about 16 users.
Our under ₹1,000 a month CRM guide goes through these in detail, and the Zoho vs Freshsales vs Kylas comparison covers features.
A two-week bake-off that settles it
Both vendors let you test before paying, so spend the trial on the things that actually differ in India rather than on the demo script:
- Import 300 real leads from your Excel sheet and check that phone numbers keep their +91 format and that duplicates are caught.
- Make an India-to-India call from the CRM using the calling route you intend to pay for. This is the test HubSpot's own help page warns about.
- Raise one quotation with GST line items to see whether the quote template fits your invoices; our note on quotation, proforma and tax invoices explains which document you need.
- Pay a small invoice with the card your accounts team will actually use, so the SI Hub or issuer approval step is exercised before renewal day.
- Export everything and open the file. If you cannot leave cleanly, you are locked in.
Which one to buy
- Under 5 people, mostly learning the habit: HubSpot free or Zoho free; choose by whether you want bundled marketing tools (HubSpot) or three users (Zoho).
- 5–15 reps, India-only sales, phone-heavy: Zoho Standard or Professional plus an Indian telephony provider.
- Marketing-led inbound with an English-speaking audience: HubSpot Starter is worth pricing carefully, with Professional only if you can justify the onboarding fee.
- Enterprise with strict data residency: shortlist Zoho and check Salesforce's options directly.
