Quick answer: Much of an Indian small-business stack can now be bought in rupees. Per the vendors' pricing pages in October 2026, Zoho CRM starts at ₹800 per user per month billed annually, Zoho Books at ₹749 per organisation, Freshsales at ₹749 per user, and Kylas CRM charges a flat ₹12,999 a month for unlimited users. Free tiers exist at Zoho CRM, Bigin and Kylas. Before paying, check the billing cycle, whether GST is extra, and whether your card can auto-debit.
How we researched this: We opened the India pricing pages for Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho People, Bigin, Freshsales, Kylas, Vyapar, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 business plans, Slack and Notion, plus Notion's tax help page and the Reserve Bank of India's e-mandate Master Direction. Everything was checked in October 2026. Prices change without notice, so treat the numbers as a snapshot and re-check the vendor page before you buy.
Three things "priced in rupees" must tell you
A rupee price on a pricing page is only useful once you know three more facts: what billing cycle it assumes, whether tax is included, and how you are allowed to pay. Vendors differ on all three, and the differences move your real cost more than the headline figure does.
On tax, the pages we read are explicit that the displayed price is not the final bill:
| Vendor | What its page says about tax |
|---|---|
| Zoho CRM, Zoho People | Local taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) are charged in addition to the listed prices |
| Zoho Books | Prices are exclusive of local taxes |
| Microsoft 365 business plans | "GST extra as applicable" |
| Google Workspace | Price is per user per month and does not include tax |
| Notion | Page states "Price in USD"; Notion's help says it charges GST to consumers in India |
| Bigin | The page carries two different tax notes, so read the checkout screen |
So a ₹1,400 plan is ₹1,400 plus GST. If your business is GST-registered, the GST on a domestic invoice is usually claimable as input credit, which is covered in claiming GST input credit on SaaS. For tools still priced in dollars, the tax works differently; see GST on foreign SaaS and reverse charge.
CRM prices in rupees: the cheapest CRM software in India
Zoho CRM, Zoho Bigin, Freshsales and Kylas CRM all list rupee prices. Here is what each page shows for India, with the billing basis stated.
| Product | Free tier | Paid plans (INR, per user per month unless stated) |
|---|---|---|
| Zoho CRM | Free for 3 users | Standard ₹800, Professional ₹1,400, Enterprise ₹2,400, Ultimate ₹2,600 (billed annually) |
| Bigin | Free, single user | Express ₹400, Premier ₹720, Bigin 360 ₹1,080 (billed yearly); monthly billing shows ₹550, ₹900 and ₹1,260 |
| Freshsales | 21-day trial | Growth ₹749, Pro ₹3,239, Enterprise ₹4,899 (billed annually) |
| Kylas CRM | Embark: free, 10,000 records, unlimited users | Elevate: ₹12,999 a month flat, unlimited users, 100,000 records; Exceed on custom pricing |
Two things stand out. First, the models differ: Zoho, Bigin and Freshsales charge per user, while Kylas charges a flat fee with unlimited users. Second, the free tiers limit different things. Zoho CRM caps users at 3, Bigin caps the account at one user, and Kylas Embark caps records at 10,000 but lets everyone in.
Worked example: a 12-person sales team
Take a Pune distributor with 12 people on the phones and in the field. At the annual-billing list prices above, before GST:
- Bigin Express: 12 × ₹400 = ₹4,800 a month
- Bigin Premier: 12 × ₹720 = ₹8,640
- Freshsales Growth: 12 × ₹749 = ₹8,988
- Zoho CRM Standard: 12 × ₹800 = ₹9,600
- Kylas Elevate: ₹12,999 flat
- Zoho CRM Professional: 12 × ₹1,400 = ₹16,800
The flat fee crosses over at roughly ten users against Zoho CRM Professional (10 × ₹1,400 = ₹14,000, already above ₹12,999) and at about 17 users against the cheaper per-user plans. This is arithmetic on list prices, not a feature comparison: the plans include different automation, reporting and record limits. Use it to shortlist, then run a trial. The detailed Zoho tiers are in Zoho CRM pricing in India, a cost view across tools in HubSpot versus Zoho CRM cost, and sub-₹1,000 options in CRM software under ₹1,000 a month.
If you want a no-cost start, HubSpot CRM also has a free entry point, but check the currency selector on its pricing page before assuming rupee billing.
Accounting, billing and HR in rupees
Zoho Books
Zoho Books publishes a full India ladder, priced per organisation, not per user. The page shows a Free plan (1 user plus 1 accountant), then Standard ₹749 a month billed annually (₹899 monthly) with 3 users, Professional ₹1,499 (₹1,799) with 5 users, Premium ₹2,999 (₹3,599) with 10 users, Elite ₹4,999 (₹5,999) and Ultimate ₹7,999 (₹9,599). Prices are exclusive of local taxes. Even the Free plan lists GST reports and filing and inventory tracking. Standard adds e-invoice management, progress invoicing and a customer portal; Professional adds timesheet billing, price lists, sales and purchase approvals and multi-currency; Premium adds fixed assets, payroll, budgets and cashflow forecasting. The longer breakdown is in the Zoho Books pricing guide.
Vyapar
Vyapar sells licences instead of subscriptions by the user. Its pricing page lists a one-year Desktop + Mobile licence in two plans: Silver at ₹4,399 and Gold at ₹4,799, with ₹7,499 and ₹9,099 shown struck through. The page works the monthly equivalent out at ₹366.58 and ₹399.92. The page's feature list includes multi-company support (5 companies), unlimited e-way bills, an accounting module and WhatsApp Connect; use its compare-all-features table to see which plan carries which, and confirm at checkout whether GST is added to the figures.
Zoho People
For HR, Zoho People lists Essential HR at ₹48, Professional at ₹96, Premium at ₹144 and Enterprise at ₹192 per user per month billed annually, with a forever-free edition for up to 5 users and local taxes charged on top. Attendance management starts at Professional, performance management at Premium.
Office and collaboration: rupee lists with promotional pricing
This is the category where headline prices mislead most, because the vendors run promotions on the page itself.
Google Workspace. Google Workspace lists, in rupees per user per month and excluding tax, Base at ₹99, Starter at ₹270 and Standard at ₹1,080. The page adds introductory offers: 50% off Base for three months and 20% off Standard (₹864), with fine print limiting offers to new customers and the first 20 users. Billing is monthly, and a one-year commitment saves 16%.
Microsoft 365. Microsoft 365 Business Basic is ₹170 per user per month, paid yearly; Business Standard with Copilot is ₹1,955 and Business Premium with Copilot is ₹2,660. All are annual subscriptions that auto-renew, with "GST extra as applicable". Microsoft describes Basic as lightweight web and mobile apps and Standard as apps across devices with Copilot built in, so match the plan to what staff actually open. The Google Workspace versus Microsoft 365 comparison goes feature by feature.
Slack. Slack's India page shows a Free plan at ₹0 with 90 days of message history, and Pro at ₹245.25 per user per month paying yearly or ₹294.75 paying monthly, with ₹545 shown struck through. See Slack versus Microsoft Teams pricing for the cost of chat on a 25-person team.
Notion. Notion is the contrast: its pricing page says "Price in USD", listing Plus at $10 and Business at $20 per member per month, with up to 20% off for yearly billing. That does not make it unusable in India, but it changes the tax and payment handling.
SaaS discount coupons and promo codes: what is real
Searches for coupon codes mostly return third-party lists we cannot verify, so here is where the discounts are on the vendors' own pages.
Annual prepayment. Every vendor above rewards paying yearly. Comparing the two prices each page shows: Bigin ₹550 monthly against ₹400 billed yearly (about 27% lower), Zoho Books ₹899 against ₹749 (about 17%), Slack ₹294.75 against ₹245.25 (about 17%). Google says 16% for a one-year commitment, Freshsales says "Save 20%", and Zoho CRM's page says "Save up to 34%" on yearly plans. The saving is real, but you commit cash up front and usually cannot get the unused months back.
Introductory offers. Google's 50% and 20% offers above are the typical shape: new customers only, capped user count, limited months. Put the end date in a calendar.
Programme discounts. Startups get larger cuts through vendor programmes, covered in startup credits from AWS, Google and Zoho. One-time "lifetime" deals are a different bet, assessed in SaaS lifetime deals and AppSumo alternatives.
What not to do. Do not pay a reseller or a coupon site before the discount appears on the vendor's own checkout screen. Take a screenshot of the final payable amount, including tax, before you enter card details.
Paying in rupees: cards, mandates and the ₹15,000 line
How you pay can fail even when the price is right. Two facts from official pages matter.
First, Freshworks' pricing FAQ says Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted across currencies, but American Express and Discover are not accepted for INR. If your company card is Amex, you may not be able to buy Freshsales in rupees.
Second, the Reserve Bank of India's Digital Payments – E-mandate Framework, 2026 governs recurring card, wallet and UPI debits. Its key rules: registering the mandate and the first transaction need additional factor of authentication (AFA); the issuer must send a pre-debit notification at least 24 hours before each charge; and recurring transactions may go through without AFA only up to ₹15,000 per transaction (₹1,00,000 for insurance premiums, mutual fund subscriptions and credit card bill payments). Anything above ₹15,000 needs AFA.
Run that against the examples above. Zoho CRM Professional for our 12-person team is ₹16,800 before GST, which is above the line, so a monthly auto-debit on a card would need fresh authentication each month. A Bigin Premier team at ₹8,640 sits below it. The practical response is to ask the vendor whether annual invoices by bank transfer are available, or to choose a plan whose monthly charge stays under the limit. For recurring collections from your own customers, UPI AutoPay versus e-NACH uses the same framework from the other side.
A five-step method for comparing SaaS prices in rupees
- Normalise the billing cycle. Convert everything to "per month, billed annually" and note the monthly premium.
- Add GST. Use the rate shown on the checkout screen, not an assumption.
- Count users honestly. Include part-time staff who need logins; Kylas's flat fee and Zoho Books's per-organisation pricing behave differently from per-user tools.
- Check the free tier's ceiling. Users, records or companies, whichever binds first.
- Test the payment path. Card type, auto-debit limit, invoice by transfer.
For a wider view of how these tools fit together, the best SaaS stack for Indian startups sequences them, and what is actually free in business software lists the limits of free plans. To compare options side by side, browse CRM software or billing software.
FAQs
Which SaaS products can I buy in rupees in India?
Zoho (CRM, Books, People, Bigin), Freshworks (Freshsales), Kylas, Vyapar, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 business plans and Slack all show rupee prices on their India pages. Notion's page states its prices are in USD. Always check the checkout screen, because the currency can change by billing address.
What is the cheapest CRM software in India?
By free tiers, Zoho CRM is free for 3 users, Bigin is free for one user and Kylas Embark is free with 10,000 records and unlimited users. By paid per-user price, Bigin Express at ₹400 per user per month (billed yearly) is the lowest of the CRMs we checked. Prices exclude GST, and plans differ in features.
Is GST included in the prices on SaaS pricing pages?
Not on the Zoho, Google or Microsoft pages we read: they say tax is extra. Bigin's page carries conflicting notes, so check checkout. A GST-registered business may be able to claim credit for the GST on a valid invoice; see the linked guide.
Are there real coupon codes for SaaS tools?
The verifiable discounts are the ones on vendor pages: yearly-billing savings, introductory offers for new customers, and programme discounts for startups. We would not rely on third-party coupon lists, and you should confirm any code reduces the final amount on the vendor's own checkout.
Why does my card keep failing on monthly SaaS payments?
Under the RBI's e-mandate framework, recurring charges above ₹15,000 need additional authentication, and registering a mandate needs it too. Some card networks are also not accepted by some vendors for INR. Annual billing by bank transfer is often the easier route for larger monthly amounts.
